2. Chapter 1: Where Am I?
Everything was a blur for a moment as he sat up in a bed he had never seen or been in before. Looking around, he realised this was not his house and he needed to get out… Cobwebs and spiders, dust and darkness all around, he leapt out of the bed and couldn’t figure out where he was. He was so confused he couldn’t even remember his own name. Once he was out of bed, he noticed two dull looking doors. He needed to get out fast but didn’t know which way to go. Left right

3. Chapter 2: The Dark Closet
Creeping through the right door, he was starting to doubt himself, how was he suppose to get out of the threatening house now? The creaky door slammed behind him leaving him inside on his own. He had just trapped himself in a jet black closet… He was constantly stumbling over piles of dirty clothes, with heaps of thick dust covering them. Coughing and spluttering as he got up on his feet, he finally found his balance.

4. As he was wondering around, pairs of red eyes appeared rapidly, scattered around the darkness. Just as he saw a glimpse of light under his feet he thought of an idea and stared to climbed in the air vent. He crawled through the air vent and came to a sudden stop and you could go right or forward. Which way should he go. RIGHT OR FORWARD

7. Chapter 2: The Gloomy Corridor
As he walked through the left door, he heard echoing noises. Jumping back in terror, he saw a strange shape in the distance. It was partly transparent and floating in the air. The boy was franticly moving around in panic as he had never seen a thing like it in his life. “Hello?” he whispered. There was no reply. So he walked on, still trying to figure out how to escape the haunting house. He was getting more scared as the noises were getting louder. He repeated himself, “Hello?” Finally something appeared, but it was floating in the air! “What are you doing here, are you lost?” the anonymous person called out. The puzzled boy stepped back in shock, as the ghost came towards him.

8. “Uuh- uh, who are you. ” he stammered quivering back
“Uuh- uh, who are you?” he stammered quivering back. “ I am a ghost the spirit of the dead!” the ghost answered. “And I can help you if you’re lost! Turn right and you’ll be on your way to the front gate of the house.” The boy was thinking if he should believe him or not… Believe Don’t believe

9. Chapter 2:
He thought to himself, why would I believe a random ghost, in a random house? So he didn’t trust him so he turned left and completely ignored the ghost.

10. Chapter 3: The Crooked Stairs
He decided to believe him and thought what could go wrong with someone who has lived here for hundreds of years? He carried on walking through the gloomy corridor, passing broken windows and ancient pictures on the rotting walls. He looked back and the ghost was gone which made him have a shiver down his spine…But he knew that was not the last time he was going to see the ghost. As time passed on, he managed to reach the gigantic, crooked staircase.

11. The banister was damaged and had holes in it with sticking out pieces of wood, so he had to be careful going down it. Cautiously tip- toeing down the stairs, he tripped over and tumbled down the rickety staircase. Then he came to a stop and saw a creepy doll. Turning around in fright he saw another one! Realising that they were all around him, he needed to make a choice: go through a open window and risk being hurt or run back up the stairs. Which way did he take? Risk being hurt back up the stairs

12. Chapter 4: Better Safe than Sorry
He raced back up the stairs, stumbling on the way.

13. Chapter 4: Risk Taker
So he jumped up and ran to the window and climbed out into the eerie front garden. It was filled with dead plants, mould and dull, grey grass. Surprisingly, he didn’t even have a scratch anywhere and came out unharmed. He didn’t know what to do next. He’d escaped the mansion successfully but he had no clue where his own house or his own family was. Suddenly feeling faint, the innocent boy dropped on the floor… Everything, once again, was a blur. He could hear, yet the world to him was jet black.

14. He couldn’t move a muscle; it was like he was glued to the raw, bitter floor. He woke up in a warm, comfy bed. There was no dust in sight unlike the room in the horrifying house he woke up in last night. Everything was coming back to his mind… he was no longer puzzled… “Oliver!” yelled his mum from the opposite room. “My name is Oliver?” he questioned, confused. “Oliver have you lost your mind?” exclaimed the raging mother. “ Yes your name is Oliver! You were making a racket throughout the whole night!” “It was a dream,” he whispered to himself, trying not to be heard. So all the of the ghosts, the spiders, the cobwebs, the darkness, was all a dark dream.

15. “ Pardon. ” she argued back
“ Pardon?” she argued back. “ Oh nothing,” he answered to his suspicious mother. After leaving the room, she slammed the door behind her. Shaking his head with his hand, he tucked back into his warm and safe bed… The next Saturday morning he stumbled out of bed and guess what he saw?
