1 March Pack Meeting Welcome Scouts and Families!
Thank you to Den 4, tonight’s greeter den & Den 8, hosts of the gathering activity.

2 Signs up! Two fingers are like the ears of Akela, listening but not talking. The two fingers stand for the two points of the Scout Oath: to help others and to obey the Scout Law

4 Scout Oath On my honor I will do my best To do my duty

5 Scout Law A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal,
Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

Core Value: LOYAL A Scout is loyal. A Scout is true to his nation. America is blessed with many national treasures, both man-made and natural. The Washington Monument and the Grand Canyon are only 2 examples

7 Opening Prayer “As we gather tonight, let us remember to be true to our families, our friends, our pack, our school, and our nation. Being loyal means that no matter what happens, others can depend on us. We give thanks for all our loyal Cub Scouts and their families.”

10 Pinewood Derby March 24, 2017 – Epiphany Church – 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Derby car weigh and check in March 25, Epiphany Church – 8:00 am to Noon. Lets go to the races

11 Pinewood Derby We need volunteers Friday at the Storage to help load the components. 1 or 2 would suffice as pack 446 will be there with personnel as well. In addition we need volunteers at Epiphany Church from 6 – 8 and beyond to weigh cars, label cars, set up track, etc. Bring wireless drills and pliers, etc. to make final adjustments to cars that are overweight. Pack 446 has requested volunteers from pack 414 to help with the teardown/clean up of Epiphany after they are finished Saturday afternoon, 4pm. Please come to Eileen or myself after the meeting to indicate when you can volunteer. Your help is needed to make the derby a success. 1 Volunteer from each den please.

12 Upcoming Events Committee Meeting April 6, 2017 – Schlotzky’s Deli – 7:30 pm All parents/adult leaders are welcome and encouraged to attend.

13 Upcoming Events Bovay Scout Ranch Family Camp April 7-9, 2017 Our nicest family camp of the year! All scout camping fees are paid for by the pack as part of our dues/fundraising efforts. Fees do apply for family members. Come swim, shoot, and have fun with us! Register soon on

14 Upcoming Events SHAC Scout Fair May 6, 2017– 10 am-3 pm –Minute Maid Park At Scout Fair, Scouts and the entire family will enjoy visiting hundreds of booths with fun activities and crafts, learning Scout skills, meeting new friends and tasting the delicious outdoor cooking. Free entry
