Here is the picture of the coast line. It is in red . The Land of Canada Canada is the largest country in North AMERICA, it is also the second largest country in the world . Canada has very tall jagged mountains in the West and more lower rounded mountains in the east . Ocean’s surround Canada on the East ,West , and North . Look below can you see the coastline .

St. Lawrence Lowland Canada can be divided into six regions . The St. Lawrence Lowlands has many forests . The trees turn beautiful colors in the Fall . Animals such as foxes live in the forest of the St. Lawrence Lowland . Ottawa is the countries capital of Canada . In the Spring ,people collect sap from maple trees . The soil is rich , and the land is flat . Farmers grow many products including corn, barley , fruit, and vegetables.

Both the French and the English were both trading with the Native Canadians and then both countries wanted control of Canada. Lesson 4 Canada at work Many years ago most Canadians worked on the land. Canada most important trading partner is the United States. The wood products industry is very important in Canada Wood products like . furniture and paper are also valuable exports. Since Canadian farmers grow more wheat than the country needs , they export the extra wheat to other countries. In the 1600’’s,boats and conos carried people and goods across Canada’s lakes and rivers. Then in 1885 the Canadian Pacific Railway connected Canada from coast to coast.

Living Canada Lesson 5 Banf is located at the foot of the Canadian Rockies. Van cover is a major city located on Canada’s west coast. The place des arts is home to many of Montreal musuem and theater’s The oldest part of Montreal is called the old city.
