Feedback from 2016-17 #unitennis

Feedback from ‘The mixed doubles tournament definitely encouraged the teams to mix which was a nice change and I think it's brought the two clubs closer- they will be joining us for our post Granite City social.’ ‘I think the University Team Challenge programme is certainly a step forward for every university taking part. I have found that it allowed us to involve more non-team players in competitive tennis, something we would certainly like to continue next year. ‘Overall, I received a lot of positive feedback from players, especially the beginners who appreciated the opportunity to engage in competition in a friendly environment.’ ‘I took some experienced players and also some people who have only picked up a racket a couple times today to play in the team challenge competition against Southampton. They were very nervous to start. But at the end of the day they were really happy and giving them the prizes just made their day. It was a really successful day and I think they are more enthused to get involved with tennis as a result.’
