No programming skills are required to use these components and tasks.
Any transformations and adapters supported by SSIS or SSIS+ may be used with our components and tasks.

5. What are the Limitations of the standard Excel Source Component?
Only samples X rows when determining the datatype to assign
Alphanumeric data is often not handled correctly
Replaces the mismatched data with “NULL”
Truncates data that is more than 255 characters
Only executes in 32-bit mode
If you want to process specific rows and columns, a SQL-like language must be used to specify those columns and rows
Does not work with files created by newer versions of Excel
Does not work with password-protected Excel files
