1 PREACH to Baha’is (2 Timothy 4:2)
Pointers on Sharing the Gospel with Them

2 How to PREACH to Baha’is
Pray for them, Your protection, and the Spirit’s power Realize their history, head, & heart, - in humility Enlighten with questions, hard & soft Answer & reflect deceit & objections Convey key Bible verses & doctrines while caring for them Help them draw near to the genuine Jesus

3 Pray for Them, Your Protection, and the Spirit’s Power
This is no game, but serious spiritual warfare This is not just an intellectual discussion, but Satan binds people spiritually They are not just a “project” but love them and pray for them as a person In warfare, sometimes there are casualties It is only the Holy Spirit Who can convert people, not you

4 Realize Their History Babis came from Shi’ite Islam in Baha’u’llah revealed himself in 1864. While the Bab said the next prophet would not be for 1,000 years, the Baha’u’llah came only 20 years later They preach unity, but they had a bloody split with Azalis who rejected the Baha’u’llah. Somehow many Azali leaders were assassinated. After the Baha’u’llah died, there are two different Baha’i groups today

5 Realize What’s In their Head
They say the varied teachings of Moses, Krishna, Mohammed, Jesus, & their prophet are all from the same God Someone said the god of Baha’is suffers from multiple personality disorder. Their Baha’u’llah (ba-A-oo-LA) is the highest prophet though. Scriptures that disagree with their view are corrupted.

6 Realize What’s In their Heart
They have no qualms about appearing Christian or Muslim to others They have somewhat of a persecution complex, since many were killed in Muslim Iran They have some similarities to Rev. Moon’s Unification Church, except Baha’is seem more politically liberal You want to witness to them; they want to witness to you.

7 Enlighten with Soft Questions
What things do you think Almighty God CANNOT do? If God really were to try to say Jesus would return the same we He ascended, how could He do say that so that objective people would not misinterpret it as just symbolic? Do you know what the Bible says about Christ’s return? Would you like to see? Do you think God would have been able to physically raise Christ from the dead if He wanted to? Why not believe the resurrection, if you already believe the virgin birth?

8 Enlighten with Hard Questions
Exactly why is God not pleased if a devout Muslim, trying to follow God, is deceived to wage Jihad and attack non-Muslims? How can a Qur’an-following Muslim today follow God when He executes Baha’is and Christians solely because of their faith? Surely God was not laughing or sleeping when He saw devout Christians believe the Trinity for 2,000 years? If the Bab was no fraud, why did he say the next prophet not come for 1,000 years?

9 Answer Deceit They will tell you they are Christians, they believe Christ is the only way to God, Christ is the highest being, they take the Bible literally, and they believe in the Trinity, evil, heaven and hell, and the resurrection of Christ. They redefine all those terms After pointing out their misrepresentation, and answering their objections, turn and ask them some revealing questions

10 Answer their Objections
Six days of Genesis Ten plagues of Exodus The darkness at the crucifixion Could Christians fail to recognize God’s prophet as the Pharisees did in Jesus’ time? Physical resurrection

11 After Answering, also Reflect Back to Them
So why does the Baha’u’llah say… What if _____ was true? then do agree there would not be any problem? Hypothetically speaking, if I could prove to you that the Baha’u’llah was not from the true God, what would you do? Leave or stay? So besides this, what else would there have to be to convince you that the Christianity of the Bible is true and Baha’ism is false? So why does Baha’i literature falsely says this? If you are an honest person, do you agree that you can no longer honesty this give out until the Baha’i organization corrects this lie?

12 Or Before Answering, Reflect Back to Them
If what I / this says is false, do you agree with me that I this should be changed and I should not say this / hand this out any more until it is. But what if it is true? If I could answer this objection to your satisfaction, would that bring you closer to accepting the Christ of the Bible? If not, what would? If _____ were true/false, then what? (Then prove it is true or false)

13 Convey Key Bible Verses while Caring for Them
Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18 John 14:6; Acts 4:12 Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7 1 Peter 2:4-8; John 5:21-23 Philippians 2:9-11; 2 Corinthians 11:3-6 1 Corinthians 15:1-6; John 20:27-28 Revelation 5:9-14; Matthew 14:33 Matthew 24:4,26-27; Luke 17:23-24

14 Convey Key Doctrines while Caring for Them
Trust God; we must not belittle His Words. God can and has preserved His truth reliably in the Bible (Dss, early NT mss, early church fathers) Trinity, Divinity of Christ, the Holy Spirit Atonement & Resurrection Personal God, Assurance, and Peace Grace and the Gospel

15 Help Them Draw Near to the Genuine Jesus
We are in awe of a personal God, who Created the universe, who is truthful, trustworthy, righteous, and holy We deserve Hell because of our sins Christ paid the demands of God’s justice by dying on the cross for our sins Make a decision to follow the Jesus who came down 2,000 years ago, & now reigns in heaven, as Lord & Savior
