2 ALC 5 Objetivo: Aprender de la historia de la piñata por leer una lectura y contestar preguntas. Objective: To learn about the history of the piñata by reading an article and answering questions.

3 ALC 5 Has usado una piñata? ¿Qué te parece? ¿Cuándo se utiliza?
¿Qué contuvo? Have you used a piñata? What did it look like? When did you use it? What did it contain? (What was inside?)

4 Directions for today… Go to google.com and search “History of the piñata.” Click on the link “History of the piñata: Mexico Culture & Arts”. Read the article and answer the questions on the worksheet. When you are done answering the questions, you can work on your computer assignment from last week if it is not done. Show Miss Franck BEFORE you print. Remember, it needs to fit on one page when printed. If you are finished with last week’s assignment, you can color a piñata for extra credit using the Paint program. (Directions for how to do so are on the next slide.)

5 Paint piñata instructions.
Go to google.com Click images. Search “piñata coloring pages”. Select one that you would like to color. Make sure to click “See full size image” Copy the image. Open Paint. (Start Accessories Paint) Paste image. Start coloring. Show Miss Franck your piñata on your screen when you are done so you can receive your points. (Do not print your picture)
