STRENGTH
Thane jurisdiction is one of the emerging area.
Chapter has Best Infrastructure with state of art premises and amenities for the students.
Supportive Managing Committee with good mix of enthusiastic and experienced members.
Sincere and Hard working Team of Employees.
WEAKNESS
Location of the chapter is far away from station. Students outside Thane City find it bit difficult to reach Thane Chapter.
Less no. of School /colleges were covered in CAP as most of the them deny the permission to conduct the programme.
Due to close proximity with Mumbai there are no Universities or Education Institutions in Thane. Most of the universities/ Government Bodies have their presence in Mumbai.
OPPORTUNITIES
With increased scope for Company Secretaries there is increase in students who are choosing CS as career.
With new emerging areas for CS, it is easier to convince the studets to enroll for CS who were opting other professions like LAW/CA/MBA.
THREATS
With increasing no. of registration there has to be increase in opportunities of jobs through campus placement, which is comparatively less at present.

1. Career Counselling to every walk in student.
2. Calls done to students who had cleared Foundation but not registered in Executive Programme.
3. Career Awareness Programme.
B. Step to be Taken
1. Special efforts in creating basic awareness among Students to pursue Company Secretary Course by taking part in various career counselling programmes / career fairs organized by various associations / Schools/Colleges
2. Will approach leading schools / educational institutions for organizing educational and promotional programs.
3. Efforts for publicity through Print and electronic media at local level for Brand Building.
4. Registration Help desk at Chapter for Assistance in online Registration process.
