First consolidation scheme of its kind amongst London Boroughs 165 participating suppliers 250 council buildings served, 9% of London’s area 46% reduction in vehicle trips 41%/51%/61% reduction in CO₂/NOx/PM emissions 800 less orders placed with one key Camden supplier with consolidation >30% increase in order value with the same supplier 30% of staff have noticed their own behaviour change Reduction in delivery frequency from 5days to 2/3 days has been accepted by staff POSITVE LEGACY A framework agreement specifically for freight consolidation services, to be ‘called-off’ by other public sector organisations in the UK Knowledge shared with stakeholders and interested parties Linkup with the University of Westminster allowing two MSc Supply Chain & Logistics students to complete their dissertation Influencing Framework Providers to introduce discounts for consolidated deliveries Keeping the conversation going regarding consolidation
