3 Interesting Facts The name "Argentina" comes from the Latin word for silver, argentum. The original European settlers believed the country was full of silver. In 2001, Argentina had 5 presidents in 10 days. The toothpaste "Colgate" in Argentine Spanish translates to "Go Hang Yourself." If you could dig a deep enough hole in China you would end up in Argentina or Chile.

Mother's Day: On this day, Argentine mothers are presented with handmade crafts, greeting cards, flowers, jewelry, and other gifts Valentine's Day: There's flowers selling on the streets cruises you and your significant other can go and much more romantic thing.

Independence Day: spend the day eating and drinking with family or close friends and, of course, the menu is very important.
