Commanders Corner
As I am writing this we are in the middle of our Veterans Weekend Clover Drive. This is how we get half of the funds that we use to support veterans' programs. It is amazing to see how generous and thankful the customers at the Avon Walmart are for Veterans. These are some of programs we donate to, Wounded Warrior Project, Toys for Tots and Voluntary Service Program at the Brockton V A. and Frank M Noyes VFW Post 8892 children’s Christmas party and more. On the local level this is how we can help veterans and their families while AMVETS National Headquarters works with Congress and the V A to improve services to our soldiers, veterans and retirees.
Thank you to all Members & Non Members that volunteered their time to this year's Clover Drive.

Post 74 in Three Rivers Fundraiser
I am not sure what this fundraiser is all about, however I hope to receive more information.
It's a Calendar for the month of February 2015.  The cost is $5.00.  The lowest prize you can get is $10.00 and the biggest prize is $ on valentine’s day.  We will be selling them till our January meeting for district.  If you want to purchase a calendar.  Please see any member of the district 3 at our next SEC in Chicopee.

Camp Edwards, on Joint Base Cape Cod, is hosting a special deer hunt open to military members of any service and veterans.  I’m trying to get the word out about this hunt and would like to ask that you forward this information to any group or individual you think may be interested. The deer hunt open to military members and veterans will be held on December 5 and December 6
