3. What is phonics? Phonics is a method for teaching reading and writing the English language. The aim is to increase your child's ability to hear, identify, and manipulate letters and sounds. We will watch a training video by Ruth Miskin available on ‘You tube’ Parent Information: Understanding phonics.
