Wanda Powe’s Variation For Base
Using ceramic clay, have students push clay into bottom of cup and insert chenille stems on their own. Saves time on preparation and they can do this easily. Have them hold the stem close to the end and push into clay to keep wire from bending.

More Variation… Students can use the small hole punch scraps or small foam shapes to decorate cup as they finish with the sculpture.
