“Previously and New” registered Debt Collectors should undergo at least PROFICIENCY TRAINING in the Debt Collectors Act in order to contribute to the purpose of the Act. Owners, Directors and CC members should do at least the PROFICIENCY TRAINING and TRUST ACCOUNTING FOR DEBT COLLECTORS which is a Unit Standard of SAQA on NQF level 4. Trainee Debt Collectors MUST do PROFICIENCY TRAINING and at least 2 Unit Standards (Ethics and Legal) both Unit Standards of SAQA on NQF level 4. Eugenè Joubert - co Founder - FCM (SA)

Recommendations: 1. Add in Training as a pre-registration criteria for Trainee Debt Collectors. 2. Add in pre-renewal training for previously registered Debt Collectors and New Debt Collectors. 3.
