Submission Guidelines & Program Measurements
How the Program Works Submission Guidelines & Program Measurements Submission Guidelines A weekly file must be submitted containing transactions for products in ALL tobacco categories for all outlets within an account. Accounts will submit one file for all outlets in the chain (multi-outlet file). An independent outlet would submit a single outlet in its file (single outlet file). Each weekly data file must contain all transactions beginning Monday and ending Sunday. The deadline for submission of your weekly file to MSAi is 5:00 PM ET each Wednesday. Program Measurements If a retailer chooses to participate in the retail scan data component, all outlets within an account must participate. Completeness: 100% of the Account’s outlets must have on-time and accurate data submitted to MSAi in order to be eligible for that week’s payment. Quality: If submitted data contains errors, a resubmission of the corrected data will be necessary. Grace Period: A retailer will have until the following Wednesday at 5:00 PM ET to correct missing and/or incorrect data.
