Wednesday, October 18, :30 p.m. Peter Scotchmer, former English Head at Canterbury High School, who is also a “compulsive diarist” discusses why keeping a diary matters in creative writing. November, 2017 Ottawa British Model Train Show. Friday, November 3, 2017 to Sunday, November 5, 2017. Doors open on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Show takedown on Sunday, approximately 3 p.m. Come and enjoy a visit to the English seaside fictional village of Marmalade Wharf. Set in post war England, the Ottawa British, all members of the British Railway Modellers of North America present an authentic replica of a British village, complete with scenically raised coal mine, and a shunting and freight handling station.
