The platform's success will depend heavily on the willingness of each stakeholder to engage and be part of the process.
The platform could be used to share experience on implementation of the legislation as well as on issues not covered by legislation. It could be used to promote the integration of animal welfare into more global agendas such as anti-microbial resistance or sustainable food production.
