Beliefs related TO EDL 276 class: 1
Beliefs related TO EDL 276 class: Whatever you don't learn and get out of this class you might have to learn the hard way This class is as good for your future district as it is for you personally I consider myself a practical field application expert of school law but not a case or textbook law expert Common sense and reasonableness will get you through 99% of possible legal scenarios. reasonableness is the key ingredient. There is a lot of grey in law This class is only one ingredient to your understanding of school law. You must be willing to stay current on cases and the evolution of school law to be a good school leader.

Beliefs related TO EDL 278 class: 1
Beliefs related TO EDL 278 class: Teacher evaluation is all about growing the teacher in the area(s) most closely related to student achievement Feedback and rubrics are best to help grow teachers while checklists are best to terminate teachers This class is all about teacher evaluation but the practices are often also relevant for support staff and coaches Teaching standards 1-7 can be improved through the evaluation process. Standard 8 issues should be dealt with separately You don’t have to be a content expert to be an effective evaluator.
