England thinks they’ll fool us.
We’ll buy tea and never fuss,
The smell of tea leaves fills the air.
So let’s go and dump it all into the sea.
It’s a lovely smell, at least it is to me.
We’ll call it saltwater tea!
Yes, I love saltwater tea!
Quietly in disguise,
Now the job is all done;
We’ll cut King George down to size
We worked hard, but it was fun.
When we dump his shipments all into the sea.
And we showed the world our longing to be free
Hope he likes salt water tea.
