6. Reading Please ensure that your child reads every night (20 minutes).
Learning key words and asking questions about the books that they are reading.
At least one reading journal task should be completed every week
Reading Journal should be completed and signed daily

7. Homework Maths and English homework will be given weekly on a Friday
It must be handed in by 9.00 am the following Wednesday

8. Targets Your child will have a reading, writing and maths targets
These aspects of English and maths will be highlighted in the teaching for that half term

12. PE kit (white t-shirt and black / navy blue shorts / leggings / jogging bottoms in cold weather) should be brought to school in a draw string PE bag (not a carrier bag).
