9 The coursework unit has helped me develop independent research skills that I know I will use at university I have learned how to structure a clear argument and structure a balanced, sustained analytical essay The subject is not only fascinating but it is extremely relevant to our world today The literacy skills I have learned have helped me in other subjects and my personal statement I have enjoyed it more than GCSE as there is more in depth study and time to scrutinize events, individuals and opinions The wider reading has opened my mind to a deeper range of ideas and thoughts of how and why events occur
