1 Request for Concessionary Parking
Patients’ & Visitors’ Concessionary Parking Car parking concessions are available in certain circumstances, for example those attending the Trust for regular treatment or as a visitor to certain areas. Please speak with the Ward Staff for conditions of use. Out-Patients Attending Regular Appointments Patients attending regular or pre-planned treatment programmes with more than five outpatient visits during a single course of treatment, such as Rehabilitation Programmes, Chemotherapy or Renal Therapy, excluding routine blood tests, can be granted parking fees of £1 per visit. The ticket can be pre-purchased from the Cashiers Office. Pre-purchased tickets cost £5 which would cover 5 visits. Visitors Immediate family making regular visits to ITU, HDU or CCU patients and in-patients admitted for more than five nights stay can be granted a parking fee of £4 for a full day (24hrs). A ‘Request for Concessionary Parking’ form must be completed and then authorised by relevant Ward Sister, Charge Nurse or Departmental Head. Payment can be made at the Cashiers Office during opening hours 10am – 12 noon or 1pm – 4pm Monday to Friday. For ‘out of hours’ payments such as weekends or Bank Holidays, please go to the Security Office. Carers & Birthing Partners £4 for a full day (24hrs) and any additional/extended period over this to be authorised at the discretion of the Nursing or Midwifery Staff. For Pay-On-Foot car park speak to Ward Staff to validate your ticket at the end of your visit, pay £4 at a pay station and proceed to a Car Park Exit. If parked in Pay & Display car park clearly display a P&D ticket and an authorised Request for Concessionary Parking form in the front windscreen for ease of observation. Parents & Carers in the Paediatric Unit and NICU Parents & Carers making regular visits can be granted free parking during their child’s admission (at the discretion of Ward Sister, Charge Nurse or Departmental Head). Speak to Ward Staff to validate your ticket at the end of your visit and proceed to a Car Park Exit. If parked in Pay & Display car park clearly display an authorised Request for Concessionary Parking form in the front windscreen for ease of observation. General Parking Charges All other visitors and staff parking in the Trust’s car parks are subject to the current charges and displayed Terms & Conditions.
