PERFECT ATTENDANCE (ZERO tardies, ZERO absences – excused or unexcused) will earn DOUBLE the BONUS POINTS!! Exactly how to earn these BONUS POINTS will be explained later when we go over the Course Handbook.)

CLASSROOM SUPPLIES 3” 3-ring binder (3 inch NOT 2 inch – my mistake on the assn paper!) ** Any color ** Binder MUST have clear windows (for inserts) on the front, back & spine section index tabs/dividers hole lined notebook paper 4. Pencil Pouch – **DO NOT ASK FOR HILITERS/PENS/PENCILS!* Black or blue ink pens Pencils or mechanical pencils – both with erasers highlighters (not magic markers) of different colors – you may select any colors

#1 – 4 are due on Tuesday, September 6th ALL FOUR AT ONCE! #1 – Agenda Book or Calendar (cell phone calendar is ok) #2 – HAPPY HOMEWORK FOLDER #3 – COMPLETED NOTEBOOK #4 – Index Cards (250) – to be kept in the classroom for vocabulary assignments. #5 – Semester Reading Book Due Monday, September 12th (will explain in detail later)

Learn to use your Agenda Book or Calendar on your cell phone! Be sure to write down these assn’s on the days they are due – HILITE in your agenda book! Use A Calendar!!! Stay Organized!

#6. THIS IS MY (Miss Ebner’s) WORK SPACE. Respect it as my space, just like you want your family to respect your room at home. Don’t go digging through things you have no business looking at or helping yourself to. #7. BRING YOUR NOTEBOOK & SUPPLIES TO CLASS EVERY SINGLE DAY!! This will also include your semester reading book (more on this later….).

STUDENT PROFILE DUE TOMORROW, August 30th
Why should you complete a job application correctly? What do employers think of applicants that cannot spell? Have messy handwriting that they cannot read? Don’t fill out the application correctly? Leave answers blank? Cannot spell? Treat this like a Job Application – don’t leave anything blank (n/a) CANNOT, print neatly, correct spelling, etc. DO NOT use N/A for 3 personal characteristics you’re proud of & 3 things you want to accomplish in 5 years
