IFP GUJARAT ALUMNI ARJUNBHAI RATHVA
Masters in Development Studies and Education University of Leeds, UK Arjunbhai belongs to Motisadhli in Gujarat. He did his Masters in English Literature from the Sardar Patel University in Vidyanagar, Gujarat. As resident director at the Adivasi Academy in Tejgadh, Vadodra, he has been a mentor for the community as well as the staff. He has mobilized them to protect their rights to land, water and forests. He has also provided financial support and guidance to students.

IFP GUJARAT ALUMNI MOHAMMAD HANIF MOHAMMAD SHAIKH LLM in Human Rights
Nottingham University, UK Hanif was born in Patan in Gujarat. He did a Masters also from Smt. T. S. R. Commerce College in Patan, Gujarat and an LLB from N.G. University, Patan, Gujarat. Hanif has worked as a Consultant at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative for 2 years. He was also the Co-ordinator for DLAKH (A woman’s organization) as well as a Fellow Lawyer for Yuv Shakti (A project of JANVIKAS). His goal is to work as a human rights advocate for marginalized sections of society. He is currently an advocate at the Gujarat High Court.

IFP GUJARAT ALUMNI ASIF IQBAL THAKOR Masters in Community Development
ISS, The Hague, The Netherlands Asif belongs to Bhalej in Gujarat. He did his Bachelors from NS Patel Arts College in Anand. He worked at the Lok Vikas Sanstha as a Research Officer as well as at the Jamiate Ulema-E-Hind as a Social worker. Asif has been involved with various organizations like the Nehru Yuva Kendra and the NSV. One of his aims is to educate rural Muslim women. He was in-charge of 19 villages for the National service volunteers program. His goal is to help uneducated youth by giving them direction through education.

IFP GUJARAT ALUMNI RAHIL AFZAL SUBEDAR
Masters in Communication Management London Metropolitan University, UK Rahil did a Masters in Development Communication from the Centre for Development Communication in Ahmedabad. He has used the medium of street plays to disseminate information on health, education and communal harmony amongst slum dwellers and the community at large. He currently works at the E Cube Foundation in Ahmedabad as a Project Co-ordinator. His work involves the design and development of content for a project by the Government of Gujarat on ‘Polytechnic Initiative in Gujarat’.

Indian nationals who are : currently living AND working in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar , Jharkhand, Orissa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh or Jammu & Kashmir have at least 55% in BA or MA degree have 3 years’ full-time & relevant work experience FORD FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIPS PROGRAM 26
