Project Executive Project Sponsor Champion the Implementation project. Create a top-down approach to enable project buy-in. Perform some interim Project Approvals and be involved in the Project Review Process. Steering Committee Come from areas of the organization impacted by the project. Collectively, make high-level decisions on the project and provide guidance to assist the progression of the project. Make sure the project is meeting its intended objectives from a functional and strategic point of view.

Act as a liaison between engineers and designers and serves as the project contact person for external (non-project) resources. Project Administrator Perform administrative activities, such as maintaining project plans, coordinating time sheets, and coordinating meeting schedules.

Project Management Team (continued) Upgrade Lead Ensure that all upgrade project activities are assigned to the appropriate resources and completed on schedule. Oversee the execution and completion of the tasks documented in the upgrade instructions. Lead the upgrade effort performed by the various teams and is responsible for the overall project and leadership.

Functional Team Functional Lead Lead the business analysis effort, as well as the overall business representation of all the functional areas impacted by the implementation. Serve as the overall liaison between the organization & the project team. Business Process Analyst Provide business representation and leadership for a core functional area impacted by the implementation and provides overall business process expertise to the project team. Attend all of the fit/gap sessions where the majority of business process discovery will occur. Update process maps and process dictionary to reflect process changes. Serve as the liaison between the organization and the project team that typically consists of both organization and consulting personnel.

Functional Team (continued) Application Specialist Guide the project team through those steps that require detailed application functional knowledge and related industry best practices. May also act as an integration consultant to integrate applications, particularly across product lines.

Technical Team Technical Lead Assure that the integrity of design is maintained across business processes. Serve as the team lead for a group of programmer analysts. Install Specialist Install solution software and ensure that post-installation acceptance criteria are satisfied.

Work with the trading partners to determine technical requirements and timelines and manage the ongoing relationship with the various trading partners.

Process Change Management Organizational Change Specialist Identify the impact of business process change on the organization and determine organizational response to these changes. Develop and implement the organization communication plan. Web Master Manage intranet and extranet site activities. Develop and maintain web design and web architecture design, and maintain web-based content according to established standards.

System Administration Team Configuration Manager Oversee the Scope Change Management (SCM) process for all environments. Coordinate and manage the application of all object changes, track updates and fixes throughout the various installation database environments, and act as the approver for implementing changes into the various environments. Use upgrade tools to manage the software upgrade process. System Administrator Assess the computer-related needs of user community. Assign user IDs, set up security access and network access, and set up workstations. Establish system schedules, such as online access "up times," coordinate reporting needs and special batch execution, and make sure operational activities, such as backups, are performed.
