Babe Ruth Babe Ruth was born February 6,1895 in the state of Maryland.
As a child he learned to play baseball at an orphanage. His nickname was “Babe” because the players thought he was young.

Babe Ruth He played baseball for the following teams: Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, and New York Yankees. He played in 7 World Series Games. During the 1926 World Series Game, Babe hit 3 homeruns for a kid in the hospital.

Babe Ruth Babe played baseball for 22 years, and hit 714 homeruns in his career. He is part of the Baseball Hall of Fame. He died in 1948.

Henry Ford Henry Ford was born in 1863 on a farm in the town of Dearborn, Michigan. He was the oldest of 6 children. He was interested in machinery and left home at the age of 16.

Henry Ford He worked as an apprentice in Detroit.
After returning to Dearborn, he married Clara Bryant. He worked as a manager in a sawmill and as a engineer for Edison Illuminating Co. In 1896, he invented a quadricycle. In 1903, he created the Ford Motor Co.

Henry Ford The first Model T was produced in 1903.
Ford later moved to a larger factory in Highland Park, where he developed an assembly line method for building cars.

Charles Lindberg Charles Lindberg was born on February 4, 1902 in the state of Michigan, but later moved to Minnesota. He had several flying experiences including barnstorming as a daredevil pilot, enlisting in the Army, and the first air mail pilot for the Chicago to St. Louis run.

Charles Lindberg On May 20, 1927, he flew from New York to France. He was a hero. He met Anne Morrow in Mexico and later married.

Charles Lindberg She became Lindberg’s radio operator and navigator.
In 1932 their first child, Charles Jr. was kidnapped and murdered. They moved to France and had 5 more children. Lindberg died in 1974.
