2. Ways to connect with SCC
Welcome to SCC. This guide has been produced so you can get the best out of the web sites and mobile apps that we run.
They are all completely free to use and are there for you, the members and friends of Sedgefield Cricket Club.
We want our members to find us easy to communicate with, whether your checking a fixture or result, booking the venue, checking the latest news or posting information yourself.
On the following pages we’ll guide you through your options so everyone has an opportunity to be involved in SCC, from getting information to maybe even writing a quick match report!
We hope you find it useful.

3. Our Websites - Pitchero
Our main web site is and is where you can find all the latest news, events, fixtures, results, twitter posts, photos, official club shop, contact info and much more.
You can apply for free to be a member and receive summary updates by on a day that suits you. This ensures you don’t miss anything that’s happening whether its playing or social.

From the Homepage you can navigate all the sections by using the handy quick links
The Contact tab list our location, club officials and on-line contact form to use for any enquiries you have
On the Information tab you can choose to view our sponsors, links to other useful websites, the SCC kit shop (available in March), membership forms, ECB directives & guidance and club codes of conduct for players and social members.

In the calendar section you can subscribe so you never miss an event or fixture. Simply click the “Subscribe” option and open the .ics file. This will save the SCC calendar to your local calendar you use on your computer
By clicking on the Shopping tab you can select the Club Shop for buying official SCC Kit

6. Our Websites - Play Cricket
As SCC is part of an ECB accredited Premier League we also use a Play Cricket Website This is the one stop shop for all results, fixtures, team and player statistics. You can view live scores, ball by ball for many of the senior league games and some of the junior matches as well.

7. Mobile Apps
We have two mobile apps available for anyone to download onto their smartphone or tablet device. This is a fast developing area for the club and is becoming the easiest way for SCC to communicate with members and the wider community and vice versa. The mobile apps are available for iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad) and Android devices

8. Mobile Apps - SCC Team App
Once the SCC Team App is downloaded, search for “Sedgefield Cricket”, add as your team, create your free account and then request the access groups that suit you ie: Player; Social Member; Junior Player; Supporter
Simply click any of the buttons to enter that section and view the information

9. Mobile Apps - SCC Team App
We can push news and events notifications direct to your devices as and when they are posted. You’ll receive reminders closer to the time and can even add the item to your local device calendar. Some events will have an RSVP option so we can gauge attendance and plan accordingly

10. Mobile Apps - Pitchero App
The Pitchero App delivers a cut down version of the main website. You can view the news feed, events and fixtures. The feed includes new activity such as photo albums that have been posted
Simply swipe the menu in from the left edge and pick the option you want to view
