44 MULTIPLE The product of two counting numbers is called a multiple of each of those numbers. EX. The multiples of 3 is any product that has a 3 as a factor. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30…

How can we use multiplication to find square numbers?

46 SQUARE NUMBER The number you get when you multiply a factor (integer) by itself. Example: 4 × 4 = 16, so 16 is a square number.
