1. LG’s Gold Medal for Environmental Materials

2. Introduction
This presentation is going to summarise the several articles which I have written on the LG 2350v monitor. I have chosen this product because of its outstanding environmentally friendly materials and general benefit towards the environment, so much so that the company have recently been awarded the first UL Environment gold label, for there LG 2350v Monitor.

3. Environmental Impact & Sustainability
90% of the products used to manufacture the monitor, are actually recyclable & reusable. 10% of the monitors materials are needed from the environment, if the 90% can be used from recycled materials. 55% of materials used to build standard monitors are sent to landfill.

This is possibly the most astounding fact which I managed to find, which was that 90% of the products used to manufacture the monitor, are actually recyclable & reusable. This is a huge impact on the environment as this now means that only 10% of the materials necessary to manufacture the products are going to be taken from the environment.

In contrast to the above statement I also found that 55% of materials used to build standard monitors are sent to landfill.

I found the best aspect of this product and decided this would be the best feature to implement into another product. 90% of recyclable materials integrated into the Samsung Sync Master P2450H 24” Monitor. On a mass scale the product could increase the recycled materials by 60% if all used the same materials .

This aspect was the 90% of recyclable materials, which I decided to integrated into the Samsung Sync Master P2450H 24” Monitor, not only will the Samsung have incredibly high graphical capabilities, but it will also offer the environment a much lower landfill percentage, and uses many more recyclable materials.

6. Brand Image & Sales Revenue
An environmentally friendly product is very beneficial to the brand image. LG have produced the first UL Environment assed Gold Medal. Very large market competitor in the eco monitors market.

An environmentally friendly product is very beneficial to the brand image. Based on the fact that there is always worry in the world about mankind using up all of the natural sources in the earth, so for a product with a very high percentage of recyclable and remanufactured materials, the company is going to be very high respected.
P2. As this has never been done before LG are clearly taking the lead on the eco products.

7. Social Behaviour & Customer Attitude
There are always going to be two sides to every story, and through thorough research I have found both sides. Customer attitude depends on the customers views upon the product.

There are always going to be two sides to every story, and through thorough research I have found both sides. The two sides are that the product is amazing because of its high resourcefulness based on the fact it has 45% recyclable materials and 45% remanufactured materials, but then at the same time, it is merely average in comparison to the competitors picture quality.

Customer attitude depends on the customers views upon the product, after research it seems that the company have slightly sacrificed its high quality imaging and picture perfect quality, for a resourceful and environmental friendly approach towards manufacturing the product.

8. Summary
The monitor seems to be an absolutely outstanding product in terms of resourcefulness and recyclability. The product also seems to have reduced quality to ensure that it is producing such amazing results in the environment world.

9. Conclusion
From my article’s and summary of my presentation I can conclude that the LG’s 2350V monitor is an oustanding product and I hope that more companies follow the trend and startt o produce much more environmentally friendly products.
