Small Group Strategies Targeted Reading Strategies Flexible Instructional Groups Benchmarks DIBELS Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills Again BM are being used for data to find weak/strong objectives. Spartans Needing Academic Progress (S.N.A.P List) Counselors, Administrators hone in on students at the beg. of year to see if we needed to FASST for SPED, new students…OCCT scores…involved Teresa (IC) quickly to get strategies for teachers With the implementation of the Flexible Reading Groups and DIBELS has helped with the data to target individual students and even specific objectives. With the support of our Inst. Coach she has helped with helping identify students with our low objectives by individual classroom teacher by disaggregating the data of our OCCT. She has also shown each grade level their three lowest target areas with the students they have at this time. This is also true in 5th & 6th grades. We have also put into our Title II monies this year, observations of teachers within our own site to help implement strategies. Unfortunately not all of our teachers were able to attend the conferences, so this is a way for a teacher to observe a teacher teaching these strategies and then both teachers going into that other teachers classroom and applying it with those students. We have already put this into use with Singapore Math Strategies.
