Mr. Ford wanted to make them more efficiently so they would be cheaper

He created 84 steps to make a Model T car
Trained workers to do 1 step, and then it moved on to the next worker

Workers put pieces on the floor and dragged them as the car was made
A Model T car could be made in 2 and a half hours
