5 Case Study: Marcus Kimbigelis – Museum of Science and Industry Apprentice
Marcus began a BTEC in ICT and soon realised it wasn’t for him. He researched apprenticeships and applied for the Apprentice ICT role at The Museum of Science and Industry. Marcus was successful and now works in the museum’s I.T.Department. Marcus says…. “Meeting new people, learning something new everyday & the whole range of experiences I get to be involved in are great – I have a sense of pride at the end of each day.”

One in twelve jobs in the UK is now classed as ‘Creative’ Manchester is the second largest hub for the Creative Industry in Europe after London. Creative industries could bring an estimated 23,000 new jobs to Greater Manchester over the next decade The Factory, Manchester is a £78m project due to open in Manchester in It will be home to the Manchester International Festival and other creative organisations.
