1. Instructions For Using The Home Traction Unit
1. Unpack the unit and lay out all the different components.
2. Assemble the pulley arm by placing the top bar into the silver door bracket, then rotate it 90 degees, and grip the pulley bar together so that the lower arm snaps into the round hole at the bottom of the silver door bracket.
Make sure the pulley wheels are aligned as they are in the picture on the right.
3. Fill the water bag to the level instructed Tie the rope onto the metal bar first, then thread it up through the pulley furthest from the door Thread it through the next pulley, and then attach the water bag. Depending on the height of your door, you may have to pull some of the rope through the bag loop to get the right height Place the completed unit over the door – see picture to the left.

2. 6. Sit facing the door, with the center of your head just away from the outer pulley.
7. Hold the harness like this picture below, with the straps at the back. Place it over your head and pull the straps forwards, and attach them to the velcro.
8. Pull the metal ring at the end of the harness tight, You might need to adjust the straps to make sure that more of the pulling sensation is happening at the back of your head.
9. Pull the water bag up onto your legs to loosen the tension on the string. Then attach the metal bar top the rings on the edge of the harness.
10. Pick the water bag off of your legs, and gently allow it to hang down. This will provide tension onto the string. Position your chair so that the rope is slightly inclined away from you, not quite vertical.
Adjust the straps and chair position as necessary so that you feel more of the pulling sensation on the back of your neck rather than on the jaw.
