Retrieving Phonetic Modifiers in Alma
In Alma and in Primo records which are saved with either a phonetic modifier, an apostrophe, or no mark can all be retrieved “in the same way”. In other words: Searching via the phonetic modifier will find records with a phonetic modifier, an apostrophe, or no mark. Searching via the apostrophe will find records with a phonetic modifier, an apostrophe, or no mark. Searching with no mark will find records with a phonetic modifier, an apostrophe, or no mark.
