Payment Methods Reference for payment entry application
Payment Scenario Payment Entry Application 1.Know open item(invoice) to be associated -- 1.Use Express Deposit 2.Know payment is NOT to be associated with an-- 2.Use Regular Deposit and “check” the box open item or any customer account ”Journal Directly” 3 Know open item(invoice) but payment received-- 3.Use Regular Deposit but do NOT “check” is either over or short the box “Journal Directly” .

Applying a Payment (AR Module) Payment Entry Application: Outcome:
1.Express Deposit Enter payment information, apply the Navigation: Main Menu>AcctsRecble>Payments payment and post >Online Payments>Express Deposit 2.Regular Deposit (Journal Directly) 2.Payment will not be posted to a customer Navigation: Main Menu>AcctsRecble>Payments account.The accounting entry with the ` >Online Payments>RegularDeposit chart field will have to be entered *Debit (CashSummary) Credit (GL Account applicable) Navigation:MainMenu>AcctsRecble>Payments> DirectJournalPayment>CreateAcctgEntries 3.Regular Deposit (NOT Journal Directly) 3.Payment will be applied to one or more Navigation: Main Menu>AcctsRecble>Payments open items. >Online Payments>RegularDeposit .
