Janet is going to Alison’s house after school. After that, they are going to the movie theater. Alison uses a grip to make a map for Janet. She uses the following information: The school is located at the origin Each unit is one block East of the school are positive x-coordinates North of the school are positive y-coordinates West of the school are negative x-coordinates South of the school are negative y-coordinates

8 On your coordinate plane, create all 4 quadrants with your axes.
Locate the school at (o,0) and place a peg. Write the location on your paper.
