In Text Citations You should cite the work of those individuals whose ideas, theories, or research have directly influenced your work. Others ideas, theories, or research should either be: Paraphrased (restated in your own words) In quotations, with the page number In text citations should include (Authors name, Year) At the end of the sentence your citation should appear like this (Rhodes, 2015). According to Rhodes (2015), your citation should look like this if it starts the sentence.

In Text Citations If the work has two authors, cite both names every time If the work has three, four, or five authors, cite all authors name the first time the reference occurs; In subsequent citations, included the surname of the first author followed by et al. If the work has six or more authors, cite the surname of the first author followed by et al. every time. Authors should appear in the order they appear in their work. (Bartholomew & Rhodes, 2015) (Rhodes et al., 2015)
