1. Purer in Heart Purity is NOT optional: 1 Peter 1: 17 – 23

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

“May I devote my life wholly to Thee. Watch Thou my wayward feet, guide me with counsel sweet.”
Romans 12: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Matthew 11:28 – Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

“Teach me to do Thy will most lovingly. Be Thou my Friend and Guide, let me with Thee abide.”
This is what is required to be HIS friend!
John 15:14 – Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
James 4:4 – Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

12. Purer in heart oh God, help me to be!
“That I Thy holy face one day may see. Keep me from secret sin, reign Thou my soul within.”
No one has yet seen God’s face and lived

13. Purer in heart oh God, help me to be! Are YOU “purer in heart”?

Secret sins will be known to Him!
Psalms 90:8 – Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, our secrets sins in the light of Thy countenance.
