Mk 12:28 One of the teachers of the law came and… he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Love the Lord your God with all…
Jesus had a lot to say about our “all” Our stuff Lk 12:13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.” 14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” 15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” *

Love the Lord your God with all…
16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ 18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ 20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ 21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Storage Units Mt 19:16 Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life? “Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come follow me. When the young man heard this he went away sad because he had great wealth.” * “According to a recent study in the New York daily news, currently 4 million Americans report being hoarders. The number is rapidly increasing and may now include as many as 15 million Americans. Hoarding as an addiction is the complusive collecting , buying and saving of items, Oftentimes the items a hoarder collects have little to no monetary or emotional value, yet purging the items rovokes anxiety and distress.”
