4 CELCAT Case study extracts
I installed a copy of Timetabler for a colleague at a remote campus, spent about 30 minutes orientating her, and left her to get on with it. Despite feeling intimidated at first, she was suitably impressed with the program. What was most valuable to her was that the program functioned in the same way that she typically reasoned when setting up the timetable - but it made her task much easier. What was also nice was that each time she asked: “Can it also...”, I could answer: “yes, it can...” .

5 CELCAT Case study extracts
It is difficult to put a figure against the savings that can be made by effective timetabling as each organisation varies in many ways. What is clear in these challenging times of reduced funding is that timetabling is a powerful tool that used effectively can have a significant influence on institution finances. So often, unfortunately, it appears to be overlooked.
