SPS is used for medium to large companies (> 1000 knowledge workers)
WSS is well suited for collaboration
SPS is well suited for presentation

Collaboration looks good on paper (but nobody really wants to do it)
Feed the site with information (or it will die!)
If someone in the organization wants a site the first step is to having them create it, who ever creates it has to care for it
It’s just like was when it first started out. Not everyone had until they started missing information.
