Lead poisoning causes: Resulting in: Lower IQ and academic performance Decreased ability to pay attention Reduced impulse control Peter to send better stat Between $17 and $50 could be saved in taxes for each $1 spent on lead safe repairs. Other costs of lead poisoning include health care, criminal justice, and home abandonment.

5 The Most Dangerous Place: Homes
In NJ, the primary source of lead exposure (up to 80%!) is contaminated dust from lead-based paint in homes and buildings built before 1978.
