Stewart’s Stew February 29th – March 4th A Peek at Our Week:
We are Learning: Math-Continue lessons on elapsed time with activities and lesson 5.8 Science- Unit 3, lesson 3 on Adaptations with pages ; Science lesson and unit 3 test Tuesday **This week is our third set of ELA and Math 4Sight assessments. The ELA assessment will take place on Wednesday and Math will take place on Thursday. Because of these assessments, there will be no reading story or spelling words. We will use this week as a review week to review reading, grammar, and phonics skills already learned. This week is also “Read Across America” week, so we have lots of fun reading activities planned. We will have themed spirit days this week as well, which are as follows: February 29th —I’m Not Going to Get Up Today----PJ day March1st —Fox in Socks---Crazy Sock Day March 2nd –Green Eggs and Ham---Wear Something Green March 3rd –Oh the Places You’ll Go--Wear something from a place you’ve been March 4th –The Cat in the Hat---Wear your favorite hat **I am still missing some permission slips for Songfest that were due this past week. Please fill out and return so your child can go with us for a fun-filled day at the Middle School.
