3 Quick - Write In your notes, take 5 minutes to write about one thing that you would like to do well. What is currently holding you back from doing well in that area? Be prepared to share out to the class!

4 Turning Dreams Into Reality
Translate your dream into specific events or behaviors Translate your dream into things you can measure Assign a timeline to your goal Choose a goal that you can control Plan a program and a strategy Define your goal in terms of steps Create accountability

5 Determine What Principles You Will Live By
Decide on guiding principles before situations arise. Example: I will not use drugs. Decide on guiding principles to guide success. Example: I will always give my best.

6 Putting Life Law #7 Into Action
Recognize that you will encounter problems for the rest of your life, but there will be nothing you can’t manage Develop a specific goal plan for each area that needs changing.

7 Silent Reading Read about managing your life on pages in the book entitled Life Strategies for Teens by Jay McGraw. Add to your Cornell notes any tips that are meaningful from the reading.

9 Activity Cards With a small group, take a few minutes to discuss the content on the 8 activity cards.
