4 Thanksgiving “Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life” (1 Tim 1:17-19).

5 Thanksgiving ‘All Blessings flow”
“Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” “But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6:6–10)

6 Thanksgiving ‘All Blessings flow”
“Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” “Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. “In the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways; and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.”” (Acts 14:15–17)

7 Thanksgiving “Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17

8 Thanksgiving We should never forget that!
“Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” Every good and perfect gift is “from above.” We should never forget that! Our jobs, our pay-checks, our homes, our autos, our retirement incomes, our pension plans, our wealth, our clothes, intellect, position in life, the turkeys on our thanksgiving tables, etc., owes their origin to God.

9 Thanksgiving Read: (1 Chronicles 29:10–20)
“Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” Look at David! Read: (1 Chronicles 29:10–20) For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You. “For we are sojourners before You, and tenants, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope.

10 Thanksgiving “Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” Now look at yourself! “For who regards you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?” 1 Corinthians 4:7 + 2 Cor 13:5

11 Thanksgiving ‘All Blessings flow”
“Mammon (wealth) will cease to attract us so perniciously when we finally realize that riches have no independent power or reality – that even wealth, like all of creation, is ultimately traceable to the great and holy God.” ‘All Blessings flow” Now look at this! In Christ “you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:10) Salvation, forgiveness, redemption, reconciliation, security and a living hope of heaven! With all that we have materially and spiritually, as Paul says “Let us be thankful” (Colossians 3:15). Let us be truly thankful! Yes, today and always!
