Logging Into the System
System Security The CardSaver interface has also been designed with security in mind. A secure login system provides security to ensure that no unauthorized users will be able to access your CardSaver system. Also, a tracking system logs every time a user logs in and every action that a user makes while using CardSaver. Accessibility Your CardSaver system can be accessed from any web browser, from anywhere in the world. The CardSaver Web interface has been designed to provide quick and simple functionality to allow effective navigability for all system users.

Agent / Reseller IP Trunks to Monitor
CardSaver allows you to monitor traffic in and out of your system based on which IP Addresses, Trunk, and Channel are used. Each can be assigned a Rate Table to determine the exact cost of calls originating from that address. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

If your CardSaver system is used to authenticate terminating traffic to any location, and your VoIP gateway supports the Endpoint Authentication feature, you may use the CardSaver End Point Authentication feature. This feature allows the System Admin to set limits on the amount of traffic that a given IP Address can send through your gateway. This feature ensures that anyone sending you traffic will be stopped if they exceed the limit you set for them. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

RATE TABLES Every call that is made through the CardSaver system is charged based on a specific Rate Table that is assigned to that Card Account. The rate of each call depends on a few factors. First, the length of the call. The System Admin can specify the length of time that each billing unit is. Second is the time of day. Peak times are of course the times which the system is busiest, thus, rates during this time can be set higher than evening or night hours. Another factor is whether the call is originating from a toll-free number. Since the Admin must pay for the toll-free number, this fee can be passed on to the caller. There are also additional surcharges that determine the cost of the call. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Rates can be defined for any dialing code prefix in the world
Rates can be defined for any dialing code prefix in the world. Also, CardSaver allows you to specify the billing time you wish to bill your customer (i.e. 1 min billing, or 3 min billing). You can also specify different rates depending on time of day. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Search for Rate Table Patterns
Administrators can use the Search Rate Table Patterns tool to quickly search for a particular rate table pattern name or rate table dialing pattern. This eliminates the need to go through long lists of rate table patterns to find the pattern required. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:
16
Import Rate Tables As an Administrator, you do not have to enter each individual rate table pattern individually. CardSaver allows you to import up to 7500 rate table patterns at once from a text (.txt) or comma separated (.csv) file. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

CARD ACCOUNTS In order for a customer to make a call through the CardSaver system, he must have a Card Account or an IP Phone. When he calls the Access Number provided to him, his Card Account will be authenticated through the CardSaver system. The call is billed based on the Rate Table that is assigned to the card. Thus, depending on where the caller is calling to, the rate per unit of time will differ. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Search for Cards The Search function of the CardSaver system is a powerful utility that can find a single card or a group of cards depending on the criteria that you wish to search by. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Access Numbers The Access Numbers are the numbers you have set up for your customers to dial to access their Card Accounts. You can specify what type of Access Number it is (i.e. Prepaid, ANI Postpaid). Also, you can block certain Account Groups from using any particular access. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

IP PHONES An IP Phone is a phone that has a direct connection to the Internet and can make calls via this connection. With IP phones there is no need to have a regular analog phone line to make a call. Based on a unique IP Phone ID that is issued to a customer, CardSaver authenticates the caller’s phone and allows call to go through the Cisco or Quintum Gateway. The call is billed based on the Rate Table that is assigned to the card. Thus, depending on where the caller is calling to, the rate per unit of time will differ. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

REPORTS The Reports feature enables the Administrator to view a breakdown of system activity. It allows the Administrator to view Reseller/Agent statistics and the credits issued by all of the Customer Service Representatives. Also, Administrators can generate a report of Calling Card usage grouped by the Card Group, the dialed Destination, or the Serial Number of the card. Also, it allows the Administrator to view detailed graphs of Wholesale traffic passing in and out of the CardSaver RADIUS Server. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Wholesale / Termination Graph Reports
Agent graphs are used to view charts of all wholesale / termination traffic that CardSaver is used to track. You can break the graphs down by hour, by day, by month, and by year. You can view graphs based on the number of calls, the total duration, and/or the ASR. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Account Invoices / Call Details
Each and every call that goes through your VoIP gateway is logged by the CardSaver system. When a call hits your gateway, the gateway sends data to CardSaver with some of the call details, such as start time and call origin. When the call is terminated, your gateway will send additional call data to CardSaver, such as the result of the call and the time it ended. All of these details are logged in a call database. From this call database, the System Admin and the Agents/Resellers can create invoices and monitor call traffic. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Wholesale / Termination Statements
Agent statements are used to view summaries of all wholesale / termination traffic that CardSaver is used to track. You can break the statement down based on the IP Trunk/Channel or the Destination of the Calls. This calls details on this statement can be exported to text file for easy ing capability. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Customer Service Credits
CardSaver allows Administrators to keep track of the credits that their customer service representatives are issuing. Although there is a daily and transactional limit that the Administrator may set for a customer service rep, it is a good idea to monitor the credits that they are issuing. The Customer Service Credits Report allows Administrators to see when, for whom, and the value of all credits issued by the reps. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Calling Card Statistics
Administrators can monitor the usage of callings cards within in a group or cards owned by a particular distributor/reseller. This feature gives Administrators a quick breakdown of calling card statistics. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

DATABASE BACKUP The Database Backup feature is an extremely useful tool that all Administrators should make a habit of using. The simple fact is that computers do go down, and data does get corrupted. Although we cannot prevent such events from occurring, we can minimize the data that is lost. CardSaver provides a simple database backup interface to all Administrators using a MySQL database. Using the backup utility, you can backup your database tables to a remote system or another directory on the same hard drive. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:
29
Perfrom DB Backup You may backup selected or all database tables on your system. You can also schedule automatic backups to backup your databases as frequently as possible. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:

Archiving Calls If your system is supporting a high volume of calls, it will be necessary to archive your calls database. By archiving calls, Administrators can remove old calls from the database and store them into text files. This will increase the performance of the CardSaver reporting features. You may only archive calls if you are using MySQL as your database. © 2004, Parwan Electronics Corporation, Call to Schedule a Demo:
