Workpackage 5-Criteria for assessing of internationalisation of B&H universities This WP focuses on the institutional dimension of internationalization. This WP should offer basic criteria that should provide sufficient internationalization and institutions of study programs. The development of these criteria in B&H would provide the minimum requirements that should provide one university for the institution and its study program that could prove to possess a certain degree of internationalization. Leading organization: HEA January-July 2018

5.1 Benchmarking different criteria across Europe about assessing of internationalisation and B&H overview This seminar will present all possible criteria for the assessment of internationalization Special methodology will be presented by the ECA to develop these criteria for the evaluation of internationalization The basic inputs in this activity are the existing criteria for accreditation HEIs and study programs in B&H, ECA methodology, analysis of the literature on the criteria of evaluation of internationalization. Road map will be developed The seminar will be held in Banja Luka and will last for four days. Teaching staff and administrative staff

5.2 Developing of criteria for assessing internationalisation of University and study programs In order to ensure an emphasis on internationalization in BH higher education it is necessary to develop a set of criteria for the evaluation of internationalization at the level of institutions and study programs Not existing until now Their implementation at the higher education institution would create the preconditions for the identification of quality improvement in this area Generally, these criteria should refer to teaching, learning, staff, students, internal quality assurance, stakeholder involvement and governance The duration of these activities will be a total of 14 working days Teaching staff, administrative and students

This guide is intended to be a supplement to the assessment of the quality of internationalization This guide should be a practical guide to assess the quality of internationalization on the basis of developed criteria for the evaluation of internationalization Basic inputs are developed criteria for the evaluation of internationalization at the level of study programs and institutions.

Workpackage 6.0 QUALITY PLAN
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education Workpackage 6.0 QUALITY PLAN This work package should provide the regular reporting and control of all project activities. At the beginning of the project, the quality policy paper will be created with the aim of achievement a common understanding amongst all project partners with regard to the quality of the deliverables produced, the methods applied to control the quality and the ethical attitudes guiding partner’s involvement. The main tasks of the WP will apply to regular reporting at the end of each year by all B&H project partners Internal reporting should be support for external control and monitoring. 6.1 Internal quality control and monitoring
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education 6.1 Internal quality control and monitoring Internal control and monitoring of the project shall be the basis for external control and monitoring. All project partners will be required to regularly at the end of each year of the duration project evaluated the implementation of activities Regularly submitting reports of project coordinator and leader of WP. For the purposes of internal control and monitoring will create a special form in which all partners will write down the name of the activity or task, responsibility for the execution of activities, indicators of progress. 6.2 External quality control and monitoring

At the end of each year by one of the EU partner will come to an external control and monitoring of the project. After visiting and access to internal reports of the EU partners will write to external inspection reports and monitoring. The external form will be in accordance with the internal forms. The one of the EU partner will visit each year the B&H project partners, and then write an external report , ,

6.3 Evaluation form for quality control of the different meetings and activities At the very inception of the project will be established electronic and printed evaluation form for quality control of all the events that will take place in the framework of the project as well as other activities. WP leader will be responsible for implementation of this activity. After each event and activities will be conducted the evaluation (electronic or paper) to assess the satisfaction of project partners and provided quality control the performed activities. The evaluations will be carried out from start to finish project.

Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education Workpackage 7-Dissemination and exploitation The main objective of this WP is to ensure the dissemination and sustainability of project results. Dissemination of the project results will be based on the principles of full transparency and involvement of all relevant stakeholders during the project lifetime and sharing of appropriate information and visibility activities. Sustainability will be achieved through the inclusion of all relevant project partners who can ensure sustainability, such as government bodies: ministries, agencies, and the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications BiH.

7.1 Development of dissemination and sustainability plan during project lifetime At the beginning of the project a detailed dissemination plan will be defined. Dissemination should be provided for each activity. All project partners have to comply with dissemination plan during the project. Dissemination plan will be published on the website and available in a newsletter Sustainability plan will be created that should ensure the sustainability of the project activities These plans will be presented at the Kick-off meeting, which will be partly corrected and improved by the project partners in relation to the original proposed version. Over time, they will be revised. , , ,

7.2 Public dissemination through design and maintenance of the project website WP leader will provide development, production, maintenance and update of the project web site through subcontracting. All information related to the project will be available on the project web page for project partners, who through the project web site should find all relevant documents, reports and various forms relevant to the implementation of project activities. Complete dissemination of the project and project activities will be listed on the project web page.

7.3 Dissemination through design and maintenance newsletter
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education 7.3 Dissemination through design and maintenance newsletter The website will be updated by creating and maintaining a newsletter during the project. This electronic publication, which is also a marketing tool of the project, will contain all the basic elements essential for the promotion of the project The benefits of this newsletter will be provided to all project partners in order to be constantly informed about the latest news and current events. This activity will last a total of 60 working days for three years duration of the project and for its establishment and maintenance will be responsible leader WP. 7.4 Dissemination through design and distribution of promotional materials This activity will include the development, design, prepress, printing of promotional materials (folders, pens, notes, banners, leaflets). All seminars and conferences will be supplied with a sufficient number of folders, notebooks, pens, pendants and banners. This activity will be carried out through subcontracting. For planning, organization and coordination of activities WP leader will be in charge.

7.5 Dissemination through media activities and publication in local newspapers In accordance with the dissemination and sustainability plans, the project will regularly be presented to the public and especially in the media. WP leader will be responsible for organizing and coordinating these activities. This activity will help regular reporting and disclosure to the public on the implementation of project activities related to the wider community. 7.6 Dissemination conference
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education 7.6 Dissemination conference Dissemination Conference will be held in East Sarajevo at the end of the project. It will last for four days. At this conference all project partners will present the realized project results and plans for sustainability after project completion, with particular emphasis on the European perspective of B&H partners. Dissemination of this conference will be media coverage, as well as published on the website and through the newsletter.

7.7 Setting up network between EU and B&H partners
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education 7.7 Setting up network between EU and B&H partners Due to the sustainability of project activities after the project, as well as for possible further mentoring B&H universities will be established a network between BH project partners from the EU project partners.

7.8 Development of integrated statement policy about internationalisation for each partner Each B&H project partner will create a statement on internationalization to express commitment to this process. The statement should provide both affect the viability of the project after project completion. It will be created the rule book of the Rectorate of the university with organizational units about the internationalization and model for the recognition of qualifications, in order to ensure sustainability after project completion. This activity will last a total of five working days (universities, agencies, and the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications

7.9 Creation of dissemination and sustainability plans after project lifetime The aim is to develop an action plan for dissemination that will apply institutions and partners after completion of the project, as well as the development of a plan of sustainability of project activities after project completion Both plans by each institution will be represented at the dissemination conference. The total duration of this activity will last five working days. Action plan in both cases will include a description of activities, responsible bodies or persons, as well as the deadlines of activities.

7.10 Internal university workshop dissemination
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education 7.10 Internal university workshop dissemination This activity is planned maintaining internal workshops at all B&H universities. Trained personnel from the outcome 3.3, 3.4, 3.5. with the help of university management should conduct practical training internal staff from different departments and students on the topic of outcome At each university should be trained at least 50 people. The broad objectives of practical workshops and internal workshops are to train human resources in order to be able to implement changes and to manage the institution in accordance with the basic principles of internationalization.

Work-package 8- Management of project activities
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education Work-package 8- Management of project activities This WP is the main WP aiming efficient management of project activities including the establishment of project structure, respect for fundamental ethical requirements, establishing financial structure and control implemented activities with financial audit. STINT will be coordinated by KU Leuven, who will be responsible for ensuring that the overall project objectives are met and that all costs and milestones are in-line with the budgets and the provided timeline. Project management will include a detailed Project Coordination Plan, proper planning, organization, coordination and control of all activities

Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education Work-package 8- Management of project activities Management structure will be established (consortium, executive board, procedures, tools) in order to ensure financial and contractual management consortium. Project consortium board (PCB) will be the high level decision making body consisted of all project partners (areas: project’s contents, workplan and budget) and will be chaired by project coordinator. Executive Board (EB) will be responsible for the overall strategic management and report directly to PCB EB will be consisted of all WP leaders. Planning and control will be ensured through project plan (scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality), financial reports (all partners), progress report (WP leaders) and risk analysis (coordinator).

8.1 Kick off meeting This meeting is an initial meeting of the official start of the project. Kick-off meeting will contribute to the establishment of the management structure of the project Kick off meeting will be held in Ghent. It will last four days The project coordinator will present a clear plan for the planning, organization, coordination and control of all project activities

8.2 Consortium meetings Project Consortium board (PCB) will have responsibility for planning, directing, strategic management, monitor and control of the project implementation. PCB will be the high level decision making body consisted of all project partners (areas: project’s contents, workplan and budget) and will be chaired by project coordinator. Decision of PCB will be made on the base of consensus PCB meetings will be held in Porto, Sarajevo and High Wycombe, each of which will last for four days. , ,

8.3 Financial and administrative management of all project activities
Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education 8.3 Financial and administrative management of all project activities Overall management of the project activities will include constant management and preparation activities, minutes of meetings, project workflow documentation, financial management, reporting and all other activities in order to assure a smooth running of the project at each partner institution. All these outcomes will be coordinated by the project coordinator KU Leuven This activity will be carried out throughout the duration of the project.
