2. Project work – Part I (warm up)
Project team work: A cost analysis of the selected building design solution
Students themselves form a team of three participants (at least one Finnish student in each group due to material issues), and send me an about the group. I will send you an assignment excel.
The aim of the Part I is to define target price for the case healthcare facility:
The work is done based on a room program (huonetilaohjelma)
The facility is located in the Capital area of Finland
The task is to use ”Haahtela and Kiiras Talonrakennuksen Kustannustieto” (or similar source if you find from other country) to define total intial costs for the project. Books can be found in room 166b.
For each room, the group reports a) the function/space category for each room that they use for their calculation and b) the corresponding price / m2
In a short written raport (max 1 page), the group presents the total price and problems in the calculations (e.g. which room categories were hard to define)
The deadline for the task is next Thursday (send me by )
