2 Compact Heat Exchanger
A type of heat exchanger which is specifically designed to realize the larger heat transfer area per unit volume. A heat exchanger with β>700m2/m3 is classified as being compact heat exchanger, e.g. Car radiator(β≈1000m2/m3) Gas ceramic gas turbine heat exchanger(β≈6000m2/m3) Human lung(β≈20,000m2/m3) engineering-resource.com

3 Characteristics of Compact Heat Exchanger

16 COMPARANCE WITH SHELL TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER:
