2 Airport Operations Update
January Multiple winter operations events January 25, 2017 Completed Far 139 Certification inspection by FAA Zero discrepancies noted!

3 January Runway Closures
Multiple runway closures for snow removal during snow alerts (16 days) During snow events, BOI closes one runway at a time for snow removal while we monitor conditions and leave the other runway open and available for use Scheduled Closures February 22: 10R/28L 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Per request of FAA for preventative maintenance.

4 American Upgauging Dallas Service
Beginning this June, American Airlines will fly a larger aircraft to Dallas, adding approximately 30 seats daily Airbus 320 to Boeing 737

5 USA Today Nominates Bardenay Best Airport Restaurant/Bar Wait Staff in U.S.
The exceptional customer experience at the Airport Bardenay has been nominated for best in the U.S. Currently ranked 4th Voting ends February 13, 2017

6 Noise Compatibility Program Open House January 25, 2016
Open house asked for input regarding approved land use measures National Guard members attended to answer military and F-35 questions Approximately 225 people attended

7 Gowen Strong Overview Origin Mission
Began in 2014 as a coordinated effort between the City of Boise, the ID Department of Commerce, the Boise Chamber of Commerce, and the Boise Valley Economic Partnership Evolved to form an independent organization with an ongoing mission in support of both the Air and Army Guard at Gowen Field Preserve military resources in Boise and favorably position the ID National Guard and Gowen Field for future changes and potential expansion Educate community on importance Host events Encourage support and community acceptance Favorably position the IDNG
